  1. I am currently teaching in Taiwan. It is the toughest thing I have ever done. And I hope I can reach some of your revelations and succeed, but only time can tell. The one thing in your article that really resonated with me was in Taiwan I have a set schedule but they throw make up days out of no where and when I find out I have little to no time to prep then no time to grade. this job is not easy.

  2. How long have you been teaching there? If this is your first teaching job, the first couple months are a big adjustment and stressful, but I promise you, you will get the hang of it!

Schedule changes happen a lot at the start of the year, but will die down and you will be able to get a handle of things. Good luck and you can do it!

  3. I love it! I especially can relate to the wanting to hook up with foreign boys part. I think I’ve only just recently had that realization, that, yes, just because you have an accent and dress well, it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re a good person. LOL.
